The scheme that Peter put together was both innovative and imaginative ensuring we had the right equipment to deliver the offer we had briefed. With Peters’ expert knowledge in kitchen design and flow, his plan helped us to use the space we had effectively. Peter also gave us great advice on some of the structural changes that with a minimum of cost would give us the greatest benefit.

We undertook a £1/2 million building project during the first half of 2008 to construct a new restaurant with a capacity of up to 120 covers, a new kitchen and associated storage facilities.
We asked 6 equipment suppliers to prepare a detailed kitchen design including a ‘walk in’ chiller and we asked each of these companies to present their proposals to our project team together with cost estimates.
The business was secured by Cornwall Catering Equipment Ltd on the basis of innovative design and equipment selection for a competitive cost and our belief that they would manage to meet the stringent timetable of the overall project. Our decision was ratified as Cornwall Catering Equipment worked closely with the contractor and ourselves to deliver the kitchen on time and in an efficient manner. During my time at Fistral Blu we have used various catering engineers, I have found Cornwall Catering to be the best by far, we are a very busy kitchen and when equipment breaks down it needs fixing rapidly.
